KVUE has had a long-standing
tradition for reporting the news fairly and accurately. KVUE
has been the recipient of many AP awards, including the 2002
award for Best Newscast.
KVUE also has a very good track record
for keeping its anchors for a steady job. Judy Maggio until
recently spent her entire career reporting news for KVUE. Ron
Olivera came back to the station following a brief hiatus |

and move to KXAN. |

network," utilizing the resources of the rest of the
BELO-owned stations as well as TXCN (Texas Cable News)
reporters. The station even has a dedicated Washington, DC
bureau.
